LOVED. IT. It's all mysterious at first because you have to walk down Green street and there's no sign for the place, just look for the guy standing near a little alley right behind Nellcote.

As you walk down the alley, it just looks like an alley, but then as you approach the back, you see this amazing courtyard open up in front of you, and you know that you have just arrived at someplace special.

When you walk in, it's dimly lit with tall candlesticks burning on candelabras. There is so much to take in - the quirky art on the walls, the tassels hanging from the ceiling, and the beautiful people all around. It has somewhat of a vintage, urban feel, with a swanky vibe.

The champagnes are offered in a variety of price ranges (the glass I had was only $13 and very tasty), and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable. After our server explained some of the champagnes, I asked him if he was a sommelier because he knew a little too much about the hints of this flavor and that, and it turns out that he was. These folks don't play around. They also have small bites, and mini desserts. One of the dessert menu items happened to be a souffle, which I will be getting the next time I go. Which will probably be tomorrow.
