I went into Best Buy on 7/8 to order a washer and dryer. We knew exactly which set we wanted. We showed the Best Buy employee what we wanted, he looked in the system and said unfortunately the dryer is out of stock and they do not know when they will be getting them back in. We are new home owners, we need a washer and dryer as soon as possible so I asked what our options were. He said they had another Samsung Dryer in stock but its more money. After a few minutes, we decided well there s nothing we can do we will have to pay the extra. I asked for the earliest delivery date, I am 7 months pregnant and going other places to do laundry during COVID is not really the greatest situation He said the earliest delivery date is 08/05. Ugh! Such a long time but if that s the best they can do ok no problem.
Today is 08/04, I just received a call from Best Buy stating our Dryer is out of stock it was supposed to be delivered tomorrow .How is that possible when it was in stock when we purchased it??? After waiting on hold for 25 minutes I had a supervisor tell me there is nothing they can do and I now have to wait until 08/29 for the washer and dryer. This is totally unacceptable. I am absolutely furious and this is terrible customer service. They didn t offer anything for the inconvenience.
