A must-see if you're in the area. A really informative museum that focuses on the institution of slavery in the United States, as well as modern-day slavery. Some things may be a bit outdated, but it is a beautiful building and museum.

It takes more than just a quick walkthrough to fully take in everything that's in the museum, but it's worth taking the time to see as much as possible.

The balcony on the second floor has a beautiful view of The Banks and has an eternal flame that is always on.

The Genealogy Center on the fourth floor has very helpful volunteers that can help you find a lot of information about your family history and ancestors.
