I had a really bad experience with Temple Baptist ...

I had a really bad experience with Temple Baptist and would caution people to be VERY wary of the people there. The double standard prevails there, and this is just for starters. They look down on people with histories of drug/alcohol problems and mental health issues and have one standard for men and another for women. They are mainly into numbers and MORE numbers, people are crammed into those pews like sardines in a can....another thing is they want 10% of your assets, that's another reason for the numbers game. I also found the people at this church not only judgemental, but very snobbish and unfriendly. I attended this church for approx 6 months and not one time did I ever meet minister Sexton or his wife. Temple Baptist offers a scribes/Pharissee type of faith and do not show the love of God in any way that I can ascertain . I am so thankful I left there and found a friendly, compassionate church whose people with their love and care for me....showed me God and led me to HIM! Thank the Lord!
