Its amazing how much they squeeze in to a relative...

Its amazing how much they squeeze in to a relatively small area, with a great variety of animals and lush green gardens throughout that make you forget how close you are to the city. Even on hot days there is so much shade its nice and cool to walk around. The new facilities have given the place a well deserved refresh and are great, while retaining classic areas. A new adventure playground for the kids (and kids at heart) is a great addition letting the kids also have some fun swinging around, not just for the monkeys. Easy to spend a day here with plenty to see and do, and plenty of places to relax around and have a picnic lunch as well. Plus this is the only place in Australia you can see the Panda's as well, so while its not as cheap to enter as some mention, its a lot cheaper than travelling overseas to see these wonderful animals :) Staff are also really friendly and passionate about what they do. All up, a great place to visit.
