I am very thankful for this hospital and staff for helping my rabbit in his time of need. I did not have any problems until the day of discharge. I had called several times earlier that day. 1 time was to tell them what time we would be there. 2 time was to tell them I would be a little later due to work. 3 I was in the parking lot ready to pick him up when they told me to come in. I did they gave me my rabbit and his carrier and blanket which where both soaked in pee and a bag of medication. I said no one explained the medication ok go back out to your car and the discharge nurse will call you. I have never had anyone talk to me the way she did so rude did not help me at all my husband said don't worry we will figure it out. NO ONE should ever have to be talked to like this when you depend on these people to help you if your time of need. I cried on the way home. When we got home I started figuring out the medications and looked at a bag with four syringes in it. I took one out opened it didn't realize it was prefilled and wasted the medicine in it. The bag said 7 syringes and no mention of them being prefilled I then called back to get her say several people here have talked to you today and explain this. I started to cry again. My husband took the phone and explained how no one explained anything he was with me the whole time including her when we were leaving the hospital in closing if you feel the need to treat people like this when they are trusting you with their animal in their time of need and depending on you for proper information not attitude you need to find a new job. You don't belong in a job like this. this kind of job requires a people person and someone with compassion. I would have given this hospital 5 stars however I feel they need to talk to their staff regarding these issues. as for the discharge nurse 1 star.
