The best airplane museum and a treasure in Southern California. Ed Maloney's legacy was to preserve one of each airplane in flyable condition and Planes of Fame has a large collection of World War 2 warbirds as well as Korean era/ Vietnam era planes, and a display of the classic air racers. A wonderful family outing, a place to talk airplanes, and they have a monthly history symposium with featured speakers who flew them. Their annual air show is one of the best in the world. Membership is very affordable and highly recommended.
