I took the technical communication course to earn a certificate in technical writing. Most of the courses were great and taught by teachers who worked in the field. They were challenging but not over the top...except one! The class Grammar for Technical Communication was an absolute nightmare. The professor was on a power trip, contradicted herself multiple times in the online forums, and lashed out at anyone who called her on her mistakes. I received A's in all my classes except this one. Overall, though, the courses are affordable and an asset.
