Very disappointed with this company. I purchased a dog barking collar that comes with 3 years warranty and it stopped working in around 2.5 years. I contacted the company for warranty and after a short troubleshooting they asked me to send the collar back for warranty. I paid for the postage for this only to be accused me damaging the internal parts of the barking collar??? The company has then try to sell me a new collar with an above market price. This is extremely poor business practice and will not deal with this company ever again.

22/04/21 - Response to the business

You may feel the need to manipulate and defend your negative reviews but I had given my truthful real purchasing experience with your company.
Isn't this the whole purpose of reviews? To provide a real client feedback about a business?

I did purchase a battery from another company ( Batteries Direct ), but I have replaced the battery myself so I know that the fact I have not damaged any internal part of the collar. There are only 4 screws to remove at each corner of the collar and once removed it was as simple as unplugging and replugging the new battery. Your accusation of me cracking the case and breaking one leg off a screw is a joke. Any person with common sense can make that judgement themselves.

Your "generous discounted offer" of the same collar for $159 plus shipping could be purchased online on Amazon Australia for $133 delivered, so no thank you and given my experience with you, I will never do business with your company again.

After your company wrongfully declined my warranty claim, I advised you I would seek advice from ACCC before responding you which I was lawfully entitled to. It was not a threat, I needed to get advice on my options from the regulator, this was clearly communicated to you. After speaking with Consumer Affairs Victoria, they have suggested me to try to resolve this issue with your company before escalating to VCAT which I have attempted again, to which your company bluntly declined to provide a resolution and asked me to "proceed with losing to the tribunal in VCAT". I don't know how many times your company have done that before to have such confident to say things like that.

My believe is that your "15 years technician" may have damaged my collar when he attempted to repair, or perhaps maybe even deliberately to do so to avoid a warranty claim. It is clear to me that by looking at other reviews of your company, multiple people have expressed similar situations where your company excels at finding a way to avoid warranty claims, the truth speaks for itself.

I would suggest you review your own internal processes and ethics instead of manipulating and accusing your customers.
