What a lovely and interesting place! The docent we were with was enthusiastic and really quite knowledgeable about the local history and shared loads of "secrets" pertaining to the area. She had personal ties to many of the stories and had us wanting to come back for more. Be sure to stop in the Currituck wildlife building. That name is DEFINITELY wrong, so don't Google it. Sorry. Wonderful place despite my spacing out on the name. Go visit!!!
