Aika On Purpose Review of UniSIM

If there is 0.5 grading, I would give this school a 0.5. I was looking forward to learn in this school, given that it is now an autonomous University. Unfortunately, facing my first semester as well as the English Language Proficiency test, I noticed the marking method is too strict. If it's trying to catch up standards to other Universities in Singapore, I don't see the point to it. In addition, I don't see the point to have a group work project for part time students. Those who doesn't do work at all depends on other members to do work for them. I rather have myself doing the project on my own (independently), without having a group member, having my own results to reflect on my own hard work. I tried to work together as a team, unfortunately it's not technically a team. I'm sick and tired of carrying the burden. Selecting group members are based on luck (fortunate if that person pull your marks up, and unfortunate if that person drag your marks down--consider the percentage of GBA is 38%). Teaching method is absolutely horrible. The lecturers can bore me to sleep except for philosophy lecturers. 3 seminars to squeeze all 12 chapters is suicidal and crazy. How am I to expect high quality results if the quality of education sucks? Should I waste thousands of dollars for this kind of education quality?
I'm considering to switch to University of Birmingham at SIM GE, where the lecturers are all from Birmingham, UK, and modules are interestingly diverse. And yes, I was from SIM GE, and from MOE to know the difference. I went to different lectures in different universities (NUS, SMU, UOL and UOB) to understand their delivery of education. I am an independent student/ learner.. But this... Worst quality I've come across. I have high expectations of this school. I find it rather disappointing and regret investing my own money for such quality of education.
