Order a bed set that took 12 weeks to come in. When they dropped it off they let me know the night stand came damaged and they ordered a new one and that I would be able to keep the damaged one free and get a new one. I was more then happy to do so. When I opened the big dresser and mirror those were also damaged. The dresser was scuffed throughout and had some deep scratches the mirror had 3 stripped screws and was lose on the top because of it. I immediately called rent a cent the next day and let them know. They came out inspected everything and put the mirror on for me. They let me know they'd order everything new and would switch out all the damaged furniture when the new ones came in. The only thing that was not going to be returned was the bed it had no damage. My monthly payment is $270 and each month for the past 6 months I've asked about the new furniture. I recently started a new job and haven't been able to go in to make my payment so of course I've been receiving phone calls every day. I asked my partner to give them a call or go make the payment he called them on a Friday and let them know he'd be in that next Monday he then asked about the furniture we haven't received and they said they are barley getting in shipments they ordered in June and that it could take up to a year. Today when he went in to make the payment he asked for the manager to ask about the order and she literally put in the order while she was talking to him. I don't know what rent a center thought or why they think it's okay for them to take my payment for damaged furniture when they haven't even made the replacement order.
