I left my spa appointment quite disappointed today...

I left my spa appointment quite disappointed today. I had booked an 80 minute massage and a 30 minute reflexology. Unfortunately, the masseuse erroneously gave me a 50 minute massage and the reflexology. This was a birthday gift from my friends; I looked forward to this spa day with anticipation it would be a 4-star ecperience.

The only compensation for this error was that I had to pay for the 50 minute rather than the 80 minute massage. Well, there is no way they could charge for the 80 minute!!! I am in the hospitality industry myself and know I would have offered some sort of apologetic compensation.

My friends and I are local Carmel Valley residents who have frequented Bernardus Spa quite regularly. There are far too many good places on this peninsula to have a spa ecperience. We will be checking some of them out next time.
