Amazon wins every time : Went to the store, thinking it should be faster than ordering online since the item is listed as available. 1. I could not find the book in the store and that's no big surprise since B&N has no item locator in place like most other stores. 2. One employee in the store would not help - He told me to go to the customer service desk. 3. Waited 10 mins at the customer service desk... - they confirmed that there is no easy way to locate a book / item in the store. 3. They found the book for me. 4. Waited for another 10 mins to pay. 5. Price was not as advertised online and the cashier would not (or could not) apply the advertised discount = She told me to order it online w/ in-store pickup on the spot using my cell phone - and to please go back to the end of the line to pick it up!!!!!! 6. I went back home and ordered the book from Amazon in 5 minutes - it's cheaper, shipping is free and I'll get it on time. B&N is on a deadly path and it's not hard to understand why...
