In all good hope I wanted to organize a baby shower for my sister-in-law. After a negative incident with Mama Kelly Amsterdam I had every confidence in Nhow; they responded clearly and quickly. I had discussed exactly what I wanted via email. From a menu I had selected certain snacks and a welcome drink. Decoration was allowed in moderation if brought along and also to take home yourself, clearly. On the day itself, the lady from the service was helpful and friendly at first. She thought along and that was nice. After the first 5 snacks I expected to receive 4 other snacks and 2 adapted snacks for the 3 pregnant attendees. Unfortunately, the very same snacks arrived which caused a lot of stress on the waitress and made them drop when bringing the drinks. She was no longer as friendly as before and the guests noticed that. I felt sorry for her myself as I had discussed all this and she knew nothing about this and it was not her fault. We did get beef and tuna sashimi, but they also made this for the pregnant women who are not allowed to eat it. There was no alternative because nothing was in stock. So 3 angry pregnant women on my roof. Then came the platter with sweet snacks. Very nicely laid out but everything was on 1 platter and again not the snacks I ordered! 1 Plateau was also not handy because 10 people must be able to reach it. Since the waitress was nowhere to be seen, I divided the sweet snacks on plates myself. I tried to find out with the contact person where it went wrong that day. They had discussed it internally but could not tell us about it. After asking, they offered their "sincere apologies" and a voucher for a drink. Which in my opinion is a meager compensation for something that was clearly discussed and which in the end was a stressful baby shower for me that I just wanted to give up so that I could enjoy myself. Ultimately, the pregnant and her husband no longer need the drink because it is just an insult how the service and handling is at Nhow. A pity, because it is a location with a beautiful view, but we don't come here anymore .. I'll buy them a drink at the Euromast ..
