Some friends and I visited the Rooftop on 1 Nov 20...

Some friends and I visited the Rooftop on 1 Nov 2015 @ 1244 am. We were in Chicago for the weekend and we're told several times to go to the Rooftop. We went and decided to purchase a VIP package so we would not have to wait in the line. The two guys at the door were very professional and allowed us to purchase the package. Everything went well until the DJ cut on the lights. Usually when this happens it means last song is being played. I decided to use the bathroom before departing. On my way, I was stopped by an employee. There was a rope blocking the walkway to the entrance of the bathroom. I told the guy I needed to use the bathroom. He told me the bathroom was closed. I replied with "are you serious". I really needed to use the ladies room before I departed the Wit Hotel. I asked the employee if there was a restroom available downstairs on the way out. He stated that he was unsure. At this point I am beginning to become very frustrated. I tell him I needed to see his manager. He says ok and calls over the radio for the manager. The manager comes over I explain the same thing I explained to the employee. I'm a little upset so of course iam emotional. The manager walked away. I yelled that I'd already paid $267.00 to sit and couldn't use the bathroom. Regardless of what paid, I was a patron, utilizing their services and should've been allowed to use the restroom before departing. I made the comment of being an active duty member, serving my country and not getting treated like a regular citizen. As I am standing there a lady walks up to use the bathroom and the employee lets her through. I asked why is she allowed and says she is manager's wife. I then walk through after her to use the restroom. The manager tells them to let me through even though he did not want me to. As I am using the bathroom I can hear the manager saying $200 is nothing to spend, people $2000 here and so what she's in the military, I am a veteran. Fiercely angered I reponded back to him, finished using the restroom. As I was leaving I heard someone say to the managers wife that she'd started trouble and she said she didn't mean to to some degree. I gathered my things and left. In my 19.5 years of serving and as a Senior Non Commissioned Officer, woman, and human being I have never felt violated and disrespected to that level. The manager was unprofessional and did a horrible job of representing his company and providing good customer service. I WILL NEVER VISIT THE ROOFTOP AT THE WIT OR REFER ANY OF MY ASSOCIATES, COWORKERS OR FRIENDS who will visit the Chicago area.
