Berks Fire & Water was recommended by my insurance company after water damage. The first crew did approximately 2 hours worth of work but loitered at my home for 5 hours. They sent another gentleman to complete the unfinished work from the first crew that evening. He was in a hurry, wore no mask in the midst of a pandemic, and reconnected my garbage disposal in such a way that it could have caused a fire. When a crew came to remove equipment on the last day they left my dishwasher in the dining room, wood bracing that was no longer needed supporting my countertop and dislodged pavers as they ran over them while leaving my driveway. Complaints fell on completely unsympathetic ears. I, a 56 year old women with disabilities and no experience or training, removed the bracing and reconnected my dishwasher in 30 minutes. The pavers will have to wait for a warmer day. I would NOT recommend this company. They were completely inefficient and disrespectful of people trying to manage during a crisis.
