I bought a car from ToO in 2012 and was very pleased with my experience. I used the Costco program and there was no nonsense haggling about price--just a fair deal upfront.

I just bought another car from them and this experience was the opposite. I went in on several occasions and walked away because they wanted to waste my time. Last night I went in with a Costco deal over the phone so it should have been straightforward. I called them in advance about my trade-in, which they do the maintenance for and have all the records, so that a quote wouldn't take long. They wasted a ton of my time coming back with the first offer on my trade-in which was well under the lowest KBB estimate. The first offer on the car also included finance options that were more than twice what is prominently displayed on their website. They claimed they only had 1 vehicle which met my specifications even though I did my research and checked their inventory online a few hours before going in and knew they had 7 vehicles in stock. It turned out another vehicle was a better fit than the one they wanted to sell me so I'm glad I looked into it.

They wasted a lot of my time and they knew I had young children with me on a school night. They were not upfront about 1) their inventory, 2) financing, or 3) the KBB value of my trade-in. I will not go back. We have been loyal to this dealership for 7 years, but I will not buy another car from them. I'm blunt, transparent, and honest when I go in for a car deal and I expect the same on the dealership's side.
