Very disturbed to find out that Providence will not bill my 90 year old mother's insurance company for the several thousands dollars incurred there last year when she fell and broke both her shoulders. My mother has a lawsuit against the facility that caused her near-fatal fall, and because of this, Providence wants to wait and get money from the settlement. By their sheer GREED, and refusing to accept payment from her insurance (which she pays a LOT for monthly) they are jeopardizing her lawsuit. To be clear: my mother HAS insurance. Providence wants MORE than her insurance legally pays for services rendered. Providence is putting her lawsuit against the company that caused her fall, and was nearly settled, at high risk. OUT OF GREED. When Providence holds fundraisers? You can bet we will NOT be donating, or supporting Providence in any manner. Very disappointed that a person with medical insurance is STILL not a "good enough" client. Shameful, and disgraceful.
