We decided to treat ourselves during our holiday visit to the northeast. Our first room seemed great: we had a small kitchen area, a living room lounge, and a spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed. Upon arriving, we smelled farts, but both of us assumed it was the other person unloading after a long road trip. Unfortunately, we discovered it was the strong smell of sewage coming out of the shower drain. We went to call down to the front desk to change rooms, but discovered the phone didn't work. Fortunately, they let us change rooms right away. We moved down the hall to another room that was missing a chair, had a light that didn't work, a mini fridge that was warm and didn't close all the way, but thankfully, no smell of sewage. Our view in both rooms was of the parking garage, which was actually kind of nice. The parking garage looks like it connects to the Biltmore, but both sides of the skywalk remained locked during our stay. The tv's were nice, and the soap smelled amazing. Hopefully our room woes were just bad odds.
