Review of Disney's Pop Century Resort

Sad that my first experience at Disney started off...

Sad that my first experience at Disney started off sour. I really wish that there was a no star option. I have sent the general manager Mr. Korte an email over a week ago and he has still not responded to me. This hotel is horrible ! We were checked into the hotel told that we had to wait to get into our room. We left all of our luggage at the luggage counter at the hotel while we went out to disney springs. We received a text that the room was ready . We went to the room about and our luggage still had not arrived. I called the luggge area about 3 and was told 20 minutes before luggage can be delivered . We waited till 3:45 but had to leave due to dinner reservations. After dinner we are excited to swim and for our 6 year old to see her birthday gift . We are locked out of our room. I called the hotel number was told someone would be on their way. Over 30 min and NO ONE SHOWED!! I CALLED A SECOND TIME because I now have a kid that needs a bathroom. Manager M. Shows up and she states she is waiting for someone else before we can get in. Ten minutes later the security shows up and we are ask if one adult can step to the side with manager and security . The manager informs me of smoke smell in my room and we will be charged $250 to clean the room- this is upsetting to be acused when we dont smoke . I am still in shock at what they will try to do for an additional $250. They did switch our rooms informed us they would be smelling our room all week and reimbursed the $250. They took away part of my daughters excitement from the trip she was suppose to open the door and see her gift not see it from the outside because the curtains was left open. I wish that I would have been able to switch hotels on the first night. I hope to never return to this hotel and hopefully those wishing for a great Disney experience to stay away .
Just an update it is now almost a month after our stay and I still haven't received a response from the manager Mr. Korte.
