Had lunch at the all-day-dining restaurant with a friend of mine. A friendly Hostess greeted us at the entrance to the restaurant and led us to a table by the window. The lunch buffet is nicely laid out and offers a wide arrange of choices such as salads, soups, cold cuts, cheeses and onward to an array of international main courses ranging from Japanese to Indian to Middle Eastern to Western. The highlight was the dessert buffet with a delectable choice of cakes, gateaux, tarts as well as home-made ice-cream. The only let-down was the service, which as sluggish and inattentive. During the cooler months of the year, one can also dine al fresco on the terrace. Give it a try should you be in the vicinity as the entire hotel was recently refurbished.
