Being a guest at this historic hotel is like being treated like royalty. Our prearranged package with valet parking and afternoon tea gave us all the luxury of time to enjoy our surroundings. The pool and huge hot tub were a welcome respite after a long drive. Dinner in the Fairmont Dining Room was everything we had hoped it would be. The only fly in the ointment was in the overcrowded public area trying to have a cocktail before dinner. I'm sure my comments to management will provide a teachable moment. Our room with lake view was compact, but the bathroom with luxury shower and spa robes made up for the slightly cramped sleeping/sitting area. All in all a wonderful and relaxing time. 5 stars without hesitation.
