Chicago South Loop Hotel Review

Chicago South Loop Hotel Review

I recently stayed at Chicago South Loop, so I could have an affordable option for attending the Toastmasters International Conference. My room was spacious, had a good amount of seating for two people, came equipped with Direct TV, and was very comfortable. The staff was very responsive as on multiple occasions I requested extra pillows, sheets, and information about local restaurants and grocery stores. The hotel was walking distance from Chinatown and only a 5 minutes ride from McCormick Place. My room came with a mini-refrigerator that I was able to load with my own groceries instead of being forced to purchase hotel priced products like other establishments. There was also an affordable restaurant on the first floor that provided breakfast and lunch options. South Loop also provided free Wi-Fi and free parking which were the key reasons I chose to stay there. My one issue with the room was that the AC pointed towards the bed, and the direction of the air could not be adjusted, so all the cold or warm air came right at you which I found annoying. Overall I enjoyed my stay at South Loop and would do stay there again if I had the option.
