My daughter loves musicals, as do I, so one Christmas I surprised her with tickets to see a play. She was thrilled, said she could knock it off her bucket list. Since then we have gone to a lot of musicals. Rent, Phantom of the Opera, Little Mermaid, and recently Chicago, just to name a few. We get all dressed up and eat at Maestro's to make a special night of it with just us, no kids or husbands. I really love everything about the straz except the seats. My daughter and I are both on the large size. I feel like I'm sitting in airplane seating. The seats are very close together and the rows are so close that our knees touch the back of the seats in front of us. Which makes it very hard to let people past you to get to their seats or us to ours. I've gotten to where I buy seats in the middle of the row, hoping we won't have as much traffic to avoid getting stepped on. And it's not like the seats are cheap either. I'm usually in the orchestra somewhere around row R or closer. With as many larger people around it would just be nice to have a little room to breathe. Maybe put a few larger access seats for sale, I know I would buy them . Other than the seats,. I have no complaints, everyone that works there are super nice, it's very clean everywhere, even the restrooms at intermission. There is plenty of parking available for a reasonable price as well.
