The room was dirty and had a really unpleasant, musky smell. First night I had bug bites on me and 2nd night, there was a cockroach that came through the bathroom sink.

Not happy with the hygiene factor from the hotel - fortunately mine was just a short stay. The security was tight and food at the Shang was good.
The breakfast hall (Circle) had a good spread however, the wait staff showed me to a table with used utensils and used napkin (even though it looked clean superficially) and did not change them until I flagged it out.

I think their service standard drops dramatically during peak breakfast hours. The next day, it was slightly better.
