After being a loyal JL customer for decades I experienced a poor and frustrating experience yesterday. Long story but I wished to use the 12 month interest free option on a large furniture purchase. The staff were very helpful to an extent but after 3 hours of trying to apply for the 12 month payment plan, then using JL CREDIT CARD 0% option, with an Experian rating of 999 the only payment option I had available was to use my expensive Amex card as all JL options failed through no fault of my own. This is not a reflection of the staff who tried their best but of the interest free facility provided, or not, by JL and their external partners Creation. Shabby for such a blue chip company
