The shelter has launched a public relations campaign in response to negative publicity they have received the past few months but let's not forget how they got here. The public, past employees and volunteers, along with other humane organizations have filed complaints around the conditions, animal illness and overall mismanagement of the facility. A criminal investigation was launched by the Martin County Sheriff's Department. Please demand change before supporting this shelter.
