I wonder if self-readers are aware that their meter reading they submit can be changed to an estimate without warning if western power/synergy dont agree with the reading you have submitted.

I didn't until I got a nearly $2000 bill (I was nearly $1000 in credit, so the bill total was actually nearly $3000) because they finally agreed with a reading I submitted. Tried to fight it but I had no chance because they dont care, they just want the money.

I gave in and I asked to do a payment plan and thinking I would get some lenancy but what I could pay wasn't good enough for them and I had to apply for the HUGS Grant (which only was $800).
