Samantha Silverstone Review of Silent Shores Resort and Spa

Silent Shores is a pretty place just outside of Bangalore, and their food is standard. The staff are courteous and helpful.
Having said that, I had to call reception because a light needed fixing, and it took over an hour (and another phone call) for someone to come. They're quite inefficient.
The room I stayed in was nice and clean, with a large bathroom. The toiletries were minimal, and there was an attached hair dryer.
The pool was okay to look at, and the times are between 7am-7pm. There was no shade provided, so I didn't enjoy the experience.
Two small bottles of Bisleri drinking water were provided in my room on the first day; naturally, they were emptied soon afterwards. Upon calling to request more, I weas told that it would be chargeable, and if I didn't want to pay, I'd have to wait until the next day. #ridiculous
Poor servicing, on the whole. It isn't a place I'd recommend or want to revisit.
