My first review, (originally 5 stars ) almost a year ago said this:
I ve used Skullcandy forever and have always had great experiences, but Benji went above and beyond. No wonder Skullcandy has so many loyal customers!
Now after dealing with Josh B. in customer service, I m changing my rating to one star. He blew me off for weeks at a time and just wouldn t reply to emails. When I finally got a response, he told me to cut up my earbuds and send photos and he would process the warranty claim. (The outer cover split where the silicone piece attaches so there s no way to put it into my ear, but the sound still worked fine.) I didn t want to cut up a working pair of earbuds but Josh said if I didn t he couldn t process the warranty claim. Then (after no reply for 3 weeks) I got an email saying my original earbuds were not in stock but they d offer me a $50 credit. I paid $70 for the original pair and they don t have anything comparable on their website. Why not just tell me that in the first place instead of wasting my time for the last 2 1/2 months?!?!
