Update: The company contacted us to send out another service technician to review the issue we have with our AC and Blower. I appreciate their responsiveness in the matter, and I wanted to update my review to still reflect my experience and also to acknowledge the company's willingness to work with me to get to the bottom of the issue.
I originally mentioned that the issue is complicated (our AC Blower will run fine during the day, but will not turn on at night causing inside temperatures, 80-85 degrees, well in excess of outdoor temperatures, 70-75 degrees, when we are trying to sleep).
Regarding the original service, the technician showed up within the scheduled window and recommended a potential solution to the problem -- a new thermostat. The original repair is, at the very least, an upgrade to our original thermostat and gives us programming options that can be used to try to save energy. The original issue persists, but they are sending someone out closer to the time (night) that the issue occurs in hopes of identifying what is going on.
The original technician was friendly and listened to my description of the issue before beginning to work. He thoughtfully considered what he had heard from me before going through a series of inspections of the unit to diagnose the problem. At one point, he reached out to a coworker to ask additional questions, and I appreciate his effort to get to the bottom of this.
