Michelle Moon Review of Nassau Inn
Great historic institution of the town of Princeto...
Great historic institution of the town of Princeton, feeling distinctly of a past era (though not quite far bygone). The accommodations are suitable but not delightful, the hotel itself is starting to feel old, and there are no modern amenities to speak of (no in room refrigerator, no workout room, very old style heating units, even the wifi is slow). Nassau Inn's strengths are its readily apparent homage to history, the diligent service by the staff, the Yankee Doodle Tap Room, and the strong water pressure. Above all else, however, the air of nostalgia may be the crowning glory and its greatest charm. Stay here because you want to feel a piece of Princeton's traditions and not because you expect a best-in-class luxurious stay. Bonus points for coffee & cookie service in the lobby.
