The best part of the zoo is the first part of the trail that keeps all exhibits local to the Pacific Northwest. They've kept it wild to the greatest extent possible and it feels unique to Oregon with up and down trails through heavily wooded forest. The remainder of the zoo is pretty typical for a zoo, much like the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. and the Denver Zoo.
