My daughter (10 years old) and I stayed at the Eden Resort for 3 weeks in August. It was fantastic. As a mother with a child, I had a totally relaxed, restful vacation. The hotel is absolutely child-friendly with many offers. The food was excellent. For me as an allergy sufferer (gluten, milk protein) it was not a problem at all. The main cook came every time and explained everything to me. I was doing really well there. The kitchen, the hotel and the food were very clean and easy to digest. We have tolerated everything where you should normally be careful in this country. E.g. salad, raw things or brushing your teeth with tap water.
Ayourveda was super good and right in the hotel. It wasn't a problem with a child. For me a dream and pure relaxation.
We went on excursions from the hotel and went back to our super hotel every evening. With the highways that exist now, the distances weren't so bad anymore.
The staff was very hard working and very warm. Every wish was fulfilled immediately. Every day there was a different surprise in the room
The hotel is continuously being renovated and is of a very good standard. It has a great atmosphere due to the beautiful decorations. This was my third time in Sri Lanka but this time it was the nicest. It was definitely not the last time. I came home totally relaxed and full of energy.
