Extremely disappointed we thought we would have a fun family day at Valleyfair we got there at right around 12:15/ 12:30 pm on May 17th 2019. There were only 3 kid rides in planet snoopy open snoopy s junction, the kite eating tree, and the peanuts 500. My child is too short to ride the kite eating tree. Can ride peanuts 500 with an adult and can ride snoopy s junction by herself. We were originally going to take her on lucy s Tugboat but the ride was being closed as we walked up the operator told us it will be open again in one hour. We then followed her to snoopy s junction where the sign says under 54 tall to ride. She measured her and said she isn t tall enough . So I asked if I could ride with her and she told me no you are too tall . So I said so she can t ride? The operator told me she can ride with some one who is 48 tall. I then repeated myself and said so she can t ride. And walked away. We then continued to walk further back by the semi trucks and roller coaster and every ride was closed. We wasted our time trying to come on a slower day. Nowhere did it say entering the park that the kids rides would be limited. I then looked online and again no such information was given, then I looked on Facebook and yet again no such information was given. Do I need to call Valleyfair before I visit every time to make sure the kid rides are open? Also the Ferris wheel was only running 4 gondolas and there was a half hour wait at least. We stopped at guest services leaving and the guy helping us there agreed that our daughter should have been able to ride snoopy s junction unaccompanied. Don t waste your time with small children on a slow day, you will be disappointed. And since when did Valleyfair start closing little kid rides randomly through out the day? We were leaving the parking lot by 1pm.
