I'm amending my original review of Hoffman, based on what I can only describe as a frustrating and disappointing experience. The week before Thanksgiving I brought my truck in for a regular service, primarily because I didn't have the parts or the time to complete the service myself. My appointment was made 3 weeks in advance (plenty of time to prepare) and when I dropped the truck off I was assured it would be finished that day. At 4:30, I get a phone call that they can't finish the service because they dont't have all the parts, and it will be finished the next morning first thing. No offer to give me a ride, a loaner vehicle, no assistance whatsoever, just a call to tell me I can't get my only vehicle an hour before they close. The next day, I was promised it would be done by 10AM, that time comes and goes, so I call the dealer, and they tell me it still isn't done. At 12:30 I finally get a call, the courtesy shuttle picks me up, and when I get there I receive no apology, no compensation, nothing, just a signature and get your truck out of our shop. Obviously disappointed with being stranded without my vehicle the week of Thanksgiving, I call Eric Reese the sales manager, and leave a message. A full 7 days later, no response, so I write an email to the service manager and sales manager as well. 4 full business days later, zero response. I called a personal friend who works for Hoffman, who assured me that they would reach out. A day later, I got a phone call telling me they're sorry they inconvenienced me and that it wouldn't happen again. I'm not one to chase money, but there has been no rectification for this screw up at all, something the person I spoke with told me, admitting they messed up many times along the way. I followed up with an email to the sales and service managers saying I was disappointed in the lack of customer service and was still offered nothing for stranding me and then happily taking my money. After a week of absolutely no responses, from anyone, I've given up on the Hoffman Auto Group. I was told all about the commitment to customer service on the phone, but that seems to be secondary when an email to multiple parties goes completely ignored. The purchase process may be good, but I won't use Hoffman again.
