Staying at this hotel on Times Square was supposed...

Staying at this hotel on Times Square was supposed to be a early birthday gift along with a show. At the arrival of the hotel, I thought okay its not perfect but it wil due. Then we go check in and their was an issue with the price of the room. A really big difference in price but again, we paid the extra and went up to our room. We get on the elevator and head to our room and this is where the real issues start. The minute the elevator open you can clearly see that the hotel rug is filthy. Some ares of the rug was rolled up and the walls were visibly dirty. Then we get to our room and based on what we already saw from the elevator to our room, Im thinking this looks more like a motel then a hotel. Then we open the door. Its doesn't smell clean at all. Its actually like a musty smell in the air. The rug again is filthy. The wall is dirty also. The night stand was not wiped clean at all. Then the tub had this nasty stain inside it. On top of that the pillows under the pillow cases are dirty beyond measure. We had to take away
Two of them off the bed. The pillow cases do not close so you can see the pillow. The pillows has Sheraton hotel tags on it. I had to use my shirt to cover the pillow as well. If I could have given a no star review, I would have. I will NEVER stay here again. I will NEVER stay in New York again at all. I will visit but never stay. I am truly disappointed with this hotel. I feel like the pictures on the internet are so false. It's nothing like it once you view it in person. Do yourself a favor and never stay here!!!! Unfortunately I have no choice but to stay this one night here. I am checking out asap tomorrow morning. This place is trash.
