Booked this BEAUTIFUL Resort back in February. My mom was assured all accommodations would be to our liking. We are travelers so we spare no expense to be comfortable. Well that was NOT the case here. After driving about 12 hours and checking in August 20th around 9:30pm things went down hill. First my mom checked in and was told the two suutes which were reserved for her back in February were not avail till the next day. (Might i add she PAID in advance) she was also told by the rude worker that no other suites were avail that night. So my mom took the two suites on the 7th and 8th floor. What a nightmare. One suite was SMELLY, CARPET WAS PROTRUDING FROM THE FLOOR AND THE FRIDGE WAS LEAKING. NO PLACE FOR MY ENEMY TO STAY. IM ASTHMATIC AND IT WAS HORRIBLE. I went to check out the other suite, just darn horrible. The roaches met us at the door. The linen was dirty as well. I refused to lay may head there. We paid $1700 for a 4/5 night stay in two suites, 12 family members. Landmark was supposed to be the icing on the cake for our 2 week vacation. I went back to the lobby to speak with management. There were a few workers who were clueless. I was told each unit has a different owner and its up to the owners to keep the places up. I was told some places are much better cleaned and decorated than others. Pretty much landmark just rent for the owners. Well here is the kicker. I was sent to see a few more rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor. Mind u we were told there were no vacancies. Lies!! These suites wasnt much better. We moved and the roaches moved with us. Just sickening. Finally saw 2 that was just a tad bit better. Being that it was so late we had to stay. Most of us didnt sleep. Mom sat up in a chair. JUST DOWN RIGHT DISGUSTING. 9 AM Next morning we had to go. As a MANAGER and worker with the public i was uneased. This was by far the WORST EXPERIENCE We've Encountered in all our years of traveling. I will not recommend this place. I do have pictures that were also sent to the corporate office. Lastly I will say MISS PENNY at the landmark was the ONLY person to care and professionally try to assist.
