Based on our experience this lunchtime it seems like the rude landlady is still in occupation!
Upon entering we were ushered to a table, abruptly, and told where and what the children in our group could or could not do. Perhaps not the most friendly of welcomes....
...however this list of do's and don't's did not include the touching of menus - but we were soon put to rights when she shot from behind the bar to verbally chastise one of the children for daring to pick up a food menu from the table top!
We decided to take our money elsewhere for lunch, as this hostile customer service was unwarranted and unwelcome.

After the fact I looked on Trip Advisor and unsurprisingly this pub is nowhere to be found. Less of a coincidence and more a result of deliberate avoidance of genuine customer feedback.
