We went to the zoo right when it opened and bought the tickets on their website first as we heard there could be long lines, but this time there was not. Nice open plan in the middle of the city. A 4 only because many of the old school style cages. It made for a relaxing morning walking through the zoo. We were actually able to see all of the large animals due to the slightly cooler morning which made the animals more likely to move around. Very large areas for kids to play in throughout the zoo and plenty of picnic tables
