Tiffany Chen Review of Sheraton Raleigh Hotel

I have to say that this is the worst hotel that I have stayed at, not for the construction or aesthetic, but the navigation of it. I stayed here recently for Raleigh Supercon. I was excited to stay at this hotel. Sadly, I will not be staying at it again unless I have to. I arrived around 11am and the driver told us that we needed to park across the street in the parking deck. Driving up was easy but the problem we ran into is that it was severely full and people were having to come back down. It took about ten minutes for them to clear out the excess cars that couldn't find a spot and we had to find our own parking because they didn't have a backup.
We came back to check in that evening and couldn't figure out how to get to the main area of the hotel. I entered through what I thought was the main entrance to see no signs or navigation. I rode the escalator up and saw no receptionist. I tried the elevators which are meant for upscale guests, I am guessing, and then found another set of elevators which led us to the ballrooms. I continued to walk around aimlessly with no signs as to where the lobby was. I found a walkway which led me to the main hotel. I waited for the elevator for at least fifteen minutes because only one of three was working consistently. I tried to find a staircase because I was tired of waiting and just wanted to get to my room. I was willing to walk 7 flights of stairs, the elevator was so slow. I finally got to my room and I was supposed to get a double bed room, I traveled with my brother and sister, and was greeted with a king bed.
The pros are the bed, super comfy, and the overall aesthetic of the room. Everything else about the hotel has a lot left to be desired.
