I arrived a few hours before the recommended check-in time and was informed I may have to wait. Much to my surprise, there was one room available and it was a King Suite! Complimentary upgrade from the Standard Room I had originally purchased, much appreciated! Included: 1 King Bed and 1 Double Sofa Bed, Mini bar and fridge, Living Room with HDTVs in both rooms. (See Photos!) The bed was super comfortable, a little on the firm side. When I'm traveling solo, I don't need my room to be cleaned as I was only there for two nights and I keep things neat as they are, but even when leaving a note not to worry about making my bed or cleaning the bathroom, that fresh towels would do just fine, the room keepers cleaned my entire suite anyway .

But BEWARE!!! Those blackout curtains will have you sleeping in by mistake like I did the first morning, thinking it's midnight when it was noon, SET AN ALARM ! It's pretty much in a central location to all the good eats and attractions, a 10 minute car ride from Georgetown and super easy to get to from Union Station. There's the Georgetown (Yellow GT-US) bus that'll drop you off 3 blocks from the hotel for $1. I selfishly don't want the world to know about this Hotel, so it'll always be available whenever I travel back to DC but, overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

P.S. It's an historic Old School hotel, dimly lit hallways and aged interior design. If you're looking for something a bit more modern, this hotel will surprise you.
