The transition is seamless from the start - the doorman to reception to being seated and then served and waited on.

We had high tea, eggs benedict, oysters and they surprised the Mrs with a special birthday cake. Every single item (darjeeling included) was lip-smacking.

My friends and I commented on the fact that whilst not being 'bugged' if we were ok, we were merely given more of whatever had run out. No extra cost.

Friendly, helpful and informative staff making sure that you feel at ease in the sumptuous building.

Toilets are spotless - same as the cutlery
