My kids and I have lived in Lawrence for about 10 years and Munchers is a favorite of ours. Their cream cheese Danish is amazing and both my kids love their bear claws and long johns. This is not a fancy place but I've never been disappointed. As far as the "freshness" goes, after reading another critic complaining of lackluster customer service and less than fresh bakery goods. I've never purchased anything that didn't look and taste fresh. From the donuts to the coffee cakes. No complaints here!! Great place!
