The accommodation is very fine, the gardens are excellent, the service is impeccable and even the choice of teas and coffees is exceptional. As for the food, don't expect gimmicks or trendy cooking. If you're aware of the Raymond Blanc style of cooking, then you'll know largely what to expect. There are some innovative touches but, on the whole, this is thoroughly tried and tested cooking at the highest level based on classic French cuisine. Of course, you pay a lot for all this quality but you'll be visiting a magical place.
