Have always loved this place since early childhood, used to go more frequently when I lived in the area. The grounds look well maintained and manicured as they always have been. The more recent newer additions look nice as well. They are entirely funded by private and voluntary donations as well as what they sell in the gift shop, admission is free. I will continue to go to Dawes every time I'm in the area, it truly is hands down the nicest and best Arboretum I've ever been to. It was really nice to see this place again. If you have never been to Dawes I highly suggest you check it out if you get the chance.
