I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's several years ago. The Endocrinologist that I went to simply gave me a prescription and told me he d see me in 6 months. I quickly learned that Hashimoto's disease is much more complex that simply taking 1 pill to feel better. I was looking for a doctor who would treat the whole body and get to the root cause of WHY I have Hashimoto s. Dr. Bita took the time to listen to me and ordered all kinds of blood work which allowed us to get to the root of the problem. Two years later, and I feel really great!! I do take supplements, have taken Dr. Bita s direction with changes to my diet. She also helped to balance my hormones which was so wonderful. This is not your typical doctors office!
