Wow! Not for tourists, but for business travelers who need to go to Science City and not downtown Guangzhou! Clear recommendation!
The hotel was taken over by Hilton, hence the correct name today: Hilton Hotel Guangzhou Science City at 28 Ningcai Rd.
!!! Not to be confused with the Double Tree by Hilton Science City very close by, but not nearly as beautiful !!!
A very chic hotel, yet casual, lots of green around it. A little away from the street, so that it is also pleasantly quiet. Unique architecture, only recognizable when you walk around the house.
Efficient and extremely friendly reception at check-in. All employees stand out for their courtesy and this smile.
My twin guest room is huge, approx. 45 square meters, with a large anteroom with couch, table and LED TV, bedroom with 2 queen size beds and another large LED TV, modern marble bathroom with walk-in shower, tub, toilet , mold-free, strong air conditioning, safe, minibar. Balcony with seating furniture in front of both rooms. Everything is furnished to a high quality and with neat parquet flooring in the living rooms. All of this for less than 100 to around 120 in a twin guest room per single traveler, depending on when you book.
Breakfast very rich from western style to Chinese. I didn't eat here in the evenings, the restaurant at least has a very good reputation.
It remains to mention the 2 lovely swimming pools and the outdoor hot tubs. A shopping mall is about 5 minutes away, but if you really want to shop, drive to downtown anyway.
