I have been a customer of Magnussen Lexus's service department for my 2008 IS250 for a number of years. I purchased the car certified pre-owned from Putnam Lexus in Redwood City and after my service contract with their dealership ran out, I became very dissatisfied with the level of service I received from them. I was recommended to Magnussen by a Toyota dealer after taking the car there for an oil change and have been with Magnussen ever since. My service advisor, Michael Start, has always been a complete professional in every aspect of his work. They do an excellent job in keeping you informed of repair progress and working with you to coordinate maintenance according to your schedule and budget. I have always found their staff to be forthright and honest and they are happy to answer direct questions regarding repair costs and recommendations. On several occasions, Michael has saved me significant money by recommending deferring certain services until they are absolutely needed. After having such terrific experience with the service department, when it came time to consider a new vehicle, the choice to remain within the Magnussen family was an easy one. Michael graciously referred me to Fred Omar in sales, who had previously helped some members of his family with their purchase needs and I was able to trade my old car in at a fair price and drive off in the exact certified pre-owned vehicle I had wanted. I cannot recommend Magnussen Lexus strongly enough to anyone in the market for a new or used luxury vehicle.
